"Hardball" - Season 1

Jenna was chosen by Maxim magazine as the fourth sexiest woman in comedy. She was shocked when the article came out because it made Jenna sound crazy. Jenna tried to convince Liz that whole article was full of misquotes. Jack wanted Jenna to make a public apology on 'Hardball'.

It was negotiation time for Jack when it came down to Josh's contract. Jack was excited about this time of year, but wasn't excited to be dealing with Josh's hotshot agent, Alan. Jack offered Josh a whole dollar extra in his contract. But Alan knew he could do better for his client, especially when earlier Liz had shared privileged information with Josh.

Kenneth earned a spot in Tracy's entourage, but he wasn't playing by all the rules. Kenneth wasn't letting Tracy get away with the things that the rest of his posse usually let him get away with. Later on the rest of the entourage put Kenneth in his place, letting him know that Tracy was always right and that he always wins!

Jenna had gone on 'Hardball' to defend her quotes found in Maxim magazine. She ended up making matters worst when she said the troops should kill Obama and she was going to vote for Osama. Later on, Jack was still mad at Liz for ruining his negotiations with Josh and now wanted her to clean up Jenna's mess.

Tracy developed a new found respect for Kenneth when he discovered Kenneth was the only member of the entourage who never lied to him. Tracy said Kenneth was the only member of his entourage from now on.

Liz couldn't believe Josh was negotiating a deal with a rival network behind her back. She was so furious she went to Jack and asked him to crush Josh during contract negotiations. Jack's idea of crushing Josh was extending his contract with no pay raise and Alan agreed. That was after Jack sabotaged Josh's plan of switching networks.

Tracy left the studio and found himself mobbed by a crowd of people who were protesting Jenna's comments on 'Hardball'. When Kenneth couldn't do anything to save Tracy, his old entourage stepped in and freed him from the crowd. He realized he really did love his friends and welcomed them back into the entourage.

"The "C" Word" - Season 1

Liz was having a hard time on getting her writers to focus on their sketches. She was becoming more and more impatient with them to the point where she was making insults and hurting feelings. It wasn't until Liz overheard Lutz call her the "c-word" did she realize how bad she really was.

Jack came up with the genius idea of bringing Tracy to a charity event in order to impress his own boss. Tracy was a hit with everybody at the event, but he began to question why there weren't any other black people there. Tracy's comments started to make Jack very uncomfortable.

Tracy was getting fed up with Jack trying to censor what he said. Tracy caught on that he was only supposed to be the funny black guy at the party and he wasn't going to take it. Tracy's antics continued on the golf course the next day.

Liz was trying to improve her relationship with the writers. She made them all cupcakes and let them goof off in the writers' room. Later on, Pete came by to check on the progress and found Liz all alone. She had let her entire staff go home early to take care of personal problems.

Jack attended a black tie dinner that night for the diabetes foundation and got nervous when Tracy unexpectedly took the podium to deliver a speech. Tracy told a touching story of his daughter's own battle with diabetes. Jack's boss was so impressed that he wanted to set up a meeting with Tracy to get him back into the movie business. Tracy told Jack he made the whole story up, but it worked.

Liz stayed up all night working on her show after everybody deserted her. She ended up watching part of a 'Designing Women' marathon and realized that there was nothing wrong with being a woman in control.

The next morning, Liz let her staff know that she would not tolerate being called the "c-word" and if she heard it from anybody, they would be fired. She also told the staff that she worked all night on THEIR show and she would not do it again. Before physically collapsing, she delivered a speech directly from the 'Designing Women' episode that changed her life.

"Up All Night" - Season 1

Jack was not looking forward to a visit from his estranged wife. He confided in Liz that every time she came by, it was because she wanted something more from the divorce settlement. He was surprised to find out that Bianca wanted the divorce to be final and was willing to give him anything he wanted as long as the papers were signed.

Liz got a mysterious bouquet of flowers on Valentine's Day. She wanted to know who sent them. She suspected Jack, but he assured her it wasn't him. He was too busy wanting to celebrate the final stages of his divorce. The rest of the crew were upset because they had to pull an all-nighter to write the rest of the show.

Later on, when he tried to leave Jack's side, Jack accused him of being weak. Tracy left, but told Jack he knew where to find him if he needed him.

He told her everything she's ever said has never been genuine or real. They eventually made up, only when she accidentally farted in front of Frank and admitted she's a real person.

She asked for advice on how to handle her fiancé. She misread Kenneth's advice and decided to meet her fiancé downtown. Kenneth tried to open mouth kiss her, but she just laughed it off and gave Kenneth permission to tell guys that they made out.

Liz was relaxing after pulling an all-nighter at work. A lawyer from NBC came by looking for the flowers that were delivered. He told her the flowers were meant for his girlfriend and accidentally sent to Liz instead. He then wished her a Happy Valentine's Day and let her keep the flowers.

"Black Tie" - Season 1

Jack surprised Liz with an invitation to the social event of the century; the Prince of Austria's birthday. She was reluctant because she didn't want to wear heels or make up. But Jack thought she should be seen with a different class of people, other than her co-workers.

The Prince of Austria, the party's guest of honor, was super creepy looking. Jack described that he was the product of years of inbreeding. Jenna still had her sights on being a princess, so when the Prince took interest in her, she played along.

Pete was in the bathroom with one of the very tempting strippers. Kenneth snuck in and stopped Pete from doing anything he would later regret. Meanwhile, Tracy stuck his head in and told Pete to go for it. Pete took Kenneth's advice and left the situation.

In order to prove to Jack that Bianca was still in love with him, Liz told Bianca they were engaged to see her reaction. Bianca flipped out and started attacking Liz. Jack was happy to see Bianca's jealous rage and later thanked Liz for such a fun time.

Jenna was surprised when the Prince of Austria told her he loved her. After he toasted Jenna he drank champagne and his servicemen went crazy. The champagne killed the prince on the spot, so Jenna had to leave the party and leave the party fast!
