"The Break Up" - Season 1

Liz finally got the nerve to end her relationship with Dennis. Jenna wanted to take Liz out to celebrate her break up. Liz was so old-fashioned; she thought she would be going to a disco, Jenna realized she had her work cut out for her.

Jack called Liz because he was becoming paranoid that his lady friend was cheating on him. Liz didn't have time to talk; she was too busy waiting outside a bar for Jenna to arrive for their girl's night out.

Once Jenna arrived at the bar, if was obvious that Liz was new to the bar scene. The drunker she got, the more awkward she got around guys. Jenna retired the night early to avoid more embarrassment from Liz.

Toofer and Tracy were getting on each other's nerves and the tension was building. Tracy thought Toofer was a sell out and not a real black man. He ended up calling Toofer a racial slur and Toofer filed a harassment suit against Tracy. Liz and Jack tried to smooth things over between the two guys.

Dennis surprised everybody and showed up to Liz's writers' meeting. He wanted to read her one last letter before he got out of her life forever. He wanted her to know that he would always love her. When he left, the TGS staff all thought Liz should give Dennis another chance.

Jack ran into a heartbroken Dennis in the bathroom. Jack sought advice from Dennis on how to handle his lady friend, who everybody suspected to be Condoleezza Rice. Jack took Dennis' words of wisdom very seriously. Jack later told a shocked Liz that he judged Dennis too early and actually liked him.

Tracy and Toofer both had to attend sensitivity training because of their verbal spat. They hashed out the reasoning behind their behavior while other's watched on. Tracy stopped the argument and thought the two had a great sketch idea for the show. Later on, the sketch idea got dropped in favor of a bit about Star Jones.

Liz came home that night to find her apartment spotless and a note from Dennis on her coffee table. The note was to let Liz know that if she got sad, there was a meatball sandwich in the fridge for her. She began a list of the pros and cons to dating Dennis. The final straw was when Dennis was caught on television with a 16-year-old girl! She dumped him for good!

"Tracy Does Conan" - Season 1

Liz is appalled that Dennis left whiskers in the sink, chews with his mouth open, assumes they're having kids together, and messes up her hair. After giving blood later in the morning, Liz tells a nurse that she's breaking up with him later in the day.

Liz finds Jenna crying because Jack bumped her from Conan for that night's show and put Tracy on instead. Scott can't believe that Conan is having Tracy on again after Tracy almost stabbed Conan the last time. Liz talks to Jack about this, and he assures her it's for the good of the show.

Tracy enlists the writers to help make him more charming for his appearance on Conan; he sees it as a chance to redeem himself in front of America. They start by asking Tracy some personal questions, and his responses are insane, to say the least. Things go from bad to worse when Tracy hallucinates a "blue dude" following him around.

With only two hours until Conan tapes, Liz finds Tracy going completely crazy from a bad reaction to some new meds his doctor put him on. Liz gets a hold of Tracy's doctor, who insists that Tracy will be fine if he's kept away from loud music, bright lights, and crowds.

As Kenneth races to pick up some kind of sedative for Tracy, Tracy goes out of his mind, screaming that the blue dude is after him as his handlers drag him into hair and makeup for Conan. In the halls, Conan spies Tracy acting goofy; Liz assures him that Tracy is just doing vocal warm-ups for the show.

Kenneth gets the medicine to Tracy only moments before Tracy's to go on stage with Conan. Liz pours the pills down his throat as Conan introduces Tracy. Tracy's pushed out onto the stage and does a funky dance until Conan gets him to his seat, where he promptly falls asleep.

After a long day, Liz gets home to find Dennis playing video games. She's so exhausted that she can't bring herself to break up with him, and she promptly falls asleep as he plays "Halo."

"Jack Meets Dennis" - Season 1

Liz got back together with her ex-boyfriend, Dennis. Jenna spotted the two together in the city. Liz told Jenna that Dennis was the only one who remembered her birthday last week and he called her and then they just started dating, again.

Jack gave Liz a lecture on living large. He said that she had to start acting like a winner because he only surrounded himself with winners. To start her off, he gave her a number to a very expensive restaurant in New York. Liz decided to bring Dennis there as a date.

Liz was embarrassed when Jack saw her and Dennis on their date. Dennis kept making immature comments, further embarrassing Liz. The next day, Liz did her best to avoid Jack, but it didn't work. She defended her relationship to Jack, but he really didn't care.

Liz walked into Jenna's dressing room and was frightened with what she saw. Jenna tried to look younger by trying Botox, a chemical peel, and collagen. She thought it made her look ten years younger. Liz just thought she looked scary.

Josh had admitted his crush on Elizabeth Taylor and was surprised when he heard she had a present for him. Josh was shocked to see Elizabeth Taylor visit on the set. She was mad about his impersonation of her and beat him up for it! She beat him so badly, that Josh couldn't work on the show.

Liz discovered that Tracy really didn't get a face tattoo and that he had really had it drawn on his face with a pen. She couldn't believe the extremes he had gone through, just to prove he was not a normal celebrity.

Liz's train wreck of a show was saved when there was a huge black out and it had to be cancelled. She went home to break up with Dennis. She found him emotional over the hockey game he was watching and she ended up inviting him to live with her.

"Jack-Tor" - Season 1

Jack tried to urge Liz and the rest of the writing team to incorporate GE products into their sketches. The entire team thought the idea was ridiculous. Jack told the writers to get real, that they just wrote for sketch comedy and they shouldn't act all high and mighty.

Frank and Toofer thought it would be funny to pull a prank on an edgy Jenna by telling her that somebody from TGS was going to get fired. She was freaked out but thankful to the guys for breaking her the news.

Liz came up with the idea of having Jack perform on TGS. She figured if they really had to sink so low as to do a GE promote on the show, they might as well have Jack be the one in the skit. Jack agreed to do it.

Liz was getting suspicious of Tracy and his ability to read. She noticed that he always ad-libbed his lines during sketches and nobody could recall having seen him ever really read. Tracy used this as an opportunity to take advantage of Liz and leave work early. She later caught him reading a newspaper and proving that he really did know how to read.

Jack's assistant tried to talk Liz out of putting Jack on air. He showed her video from the last time Jack tried to work on television; it ended up being a five-day production. Liz decided to get Jack to change his mind about doing live television.

Jack called Liz in the dead of night to ask her for advice. He was beginning to get very nervous about his role on TGS. She advised Jack to drop out and find another actor to fill his role, but he was insistent on being on the show. She told him to man up and get the job done. He did just that and ended up being a hit on the show.

Jenna told Liz that she wasn't worried for her job anymore, because she hooked up with Jack's boss, Ron. When Jenna pointed him out, Liz informed Jenna that who she hooked up with was an extra from the show! Liz had warned her against listening to rumors. The truth was, Liz told her; Jenna was not going to get fired.

"Jack the Writer" - Season 1

Liz and the writing team celebrated another funny sketch by having a dance break. It was interrupted with Jack's arrival. Jack let the writers know that he was going be present in all the writers meetings everyday in order to get more involved. He started bringing lame ideas to the table.

Kenneth started taking orders from Tracy. Tracy's demands were very difficult, including retrieving nachos from Yankee stadium and finding a very rare and exotic fish for Tracy's aquarium.

Liz was faced with the difficult situation of handling her assistant. Her assistant was dressing in skimpy outfits, causing all the men to take their attention away from work. Her assistant didn't understand what was wrong with the way she dressed. In fact, she helped Liz dress like her. But that only caused laughs from her co-workers.

Liz had made an appointment to apologize to Jack for kicking him out of the writers' room. He completely understood that she was doing what she had to do. But, he had to be assured that the writers really did like him.

Now that Liz and Jack had developed a friendship, she thought she could get away with anything around the studio. She tried to get Jack to let her and the writers eat pizza on the patio. She ended up embarrassing Jack in front of his business colleagues. He ridiculed her in front of everybody. And apologized afterwards.

"Blind Date" - Season 1

Liz was uptight and taking her rage out on the staff of TGS. Jack called her into his office and offered a solution. He wanted to give her a little companionship by setting her up with a friend of his who was from out of town. Meanwhile, Jack also invited himself to Liz's poker night.

Liz agreed to go on the blind date. Jack gave her money to buy something nice to wear. While she was heading out of the office, the guys all gathered to play poker. Jack was ruthless and won every hand. That included taking a wedding ring and Emmy that were placed as bets from the players.

Much to Liz's surprise, Jack had set her up on a lesbian blind date. Gretchen said that she had no interest in turning a straight girl gay. Liz said she would stick around for dinner though. The next morning Liz asked Jack what made him think she was a lesbian; he told her that it was her "bi-curious" shoes that gave it away.

Liz was flattered when she heard that Gretchen really liked her. The staff thought it was hilarious that Jack thought she was a lesbian. Later that night, Liz decided to give Gretchen a call and they set up a dinner date.

Determined to beat him at cards, Jack scheduled a re-match with Kenneth the page. People watched as Jack challenged Kenneth to wager his NBC jacket and job. Jack won the hand and got to take Kenneth's jacket and job from him. Jack admitted he wasn't really going to fire Kenneth, but wanted to prove he could beat him at cards.

After another night out, Liz and Gretchen started calling each other Oprah and Gayle because of their friendship. Gretchen thought it was time to take a break from Liz. She said she felt she was being led on by Liz and reiterated that she did not want to chase a straight girl.

Tracy walked into the studio and was greeted by Jack and live music and dancers. Liz was afraid that Tracy's new role on the show was going to steal all the attention from the other players on The Girlie Show.

Jack changed the name of The Girlie Show to TGS with Tracy Morgan. Jack organized new promos to be shot introducing the new title. Jenna was not pleased when Tracy took over the promos and didn't even say her name correctly.

Liz assured Jenna that all the changes were not her doing but Jack's. She also told Jenna that they work for idiots and the rest of the writing staff agreed with Liz. Just then, Kenneth came by to alert Jenna that her mic was still plugged in and the entire studio heard what Liz was saying.

Liz confronted Tracy to let him know that he was the only person that the network cared about because the rest of the show were just jealous of Tracy's talent. Just then, Liz was alerted that the camera was on the whole time and the studio watched and listened to her entire conversation.

Tracy helped Liz by holding a party on his yacht. Liz was impressed, as was everybody else with Tracy's party. He had the finest liquor being served and was on his best behavior. Liz became suspicious when she saw a picture of unfamiliar children on a table inside the yacht.

Liz discovered a maid hiding in a closet in the yacht. In broken English the maid told Liz that Tracy took the yacht and it wasn't his. Liz remembered all the things the things Tracy was saying at the party that weren't making sense. She told all the people at the party to jump overboard, just then, the police were ordering the crew off the boat.

Jack congratulated Liz for bringing the crew of TGS together. She thought it was a disaster, but he reminded her that she still brought everybody together and everybody ended up bonding.
